VSC – Open Studio

Posted on January 17th, 2014

With only three days under my belt here, I decided to participate in Open Studio. It meant I had to get into high gear, hang my armature from the water pipe, tie on the l.e.d strands following the curve of the double helix and then affix the paper with magnets to the steel. I also built a small installation with pictures of slime mold, stones, bamboo and Mylar.

It’s finally snowing after two days of rain.

I love the way you use Mylar, the troubled reflexions that you get.
As a 3D artist, I am fascinated by your ability to make sculptures out of flat works.
